💎 A term coined to many girls who grew up being the apple of their Father’s eye. A term that refers to the unbreakable bond between a Father and Daughter, one that seems to sum up the love they have for one another and will forever have.
💎I could go on about the ways the term ‘daddy’s girl’ fits my relationship with my dad. All the memories, events, jokes and talks will be ingrained in my mind forever. I wasn’t a ‘Daddy’s Girl’ because I was spoiled, void of discipline and got everything a girl could ever want or ask for. My relationship with my Dad was based on time not money and things.
💎My Dad was at every special event that occurred in my life. He attended every school performance, concert and graduation ceremony all the way up to Grad School. He walked me down the aisle on my wedding day and celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary alongside me. The most important life lesson my Dad taught me was the value of time.
💎Time well spent builds a lifetime of memories. Those memories cannot be bought, stolen or borrowed, only earned.
Time is priceless but more valuable than the most precious of gems. Only if time could stand still, how would we spend it? Would we waste time holding grudges? Bickering over meaningless issues? Wondering who did what, when and why? Or would we spend that time building memories and legacies?
💎Daddy, I thank you for teaching the value of thoughtfulness over things, time over titles and memories over money. What you have given me is a far greater treasure than anything else in this world. I’m not sure where to go from here, but I know you will always be a guiding light illuminating my path. I am forever grateful Daddy and I promise to continue to make you proud. I love you forever and until we meet again, rest in paradise ❤️.

This is an awesome piece. I can relate to everything that you said because I too am a Daddy’s little girl, and we always will be just that❤️
I miss my father as well n yes Daddies are great human beings regardless of what they did or didn't do... love you daddy 😘
