đAs I was pondering over some concerns, a saying came to mind. âWhen life hands you lemons, make lemonade!â I thought to myself that sounds simple. If something isnât going as planned in your life, make the best out of it anyhow. Itâs a saying that provokes us to make good out of a bad situation. It encourages us to look on the bright side, knowing that things wonât always be the way they are.
đBut has anyone thought about the process it takes to make lemonade? First, you gather your lemons, you slice them more than likely in half. You place them either in a squeezer, juicer or you squeeze them by hand and repeat the process until you have enough juice. Once you've extracted all the juice you can, you add your water and sugar to sweeten to taste.
đThis process is much like the process of life when you are confronted with sour situations. You know you must make the best of them but before that can take place the squeezing, crushing and extracting process must happen. You donât just wake up with lemonade flowing all over your life, you must make a decision to go through the process. The process of turning those sour situations into sweet victories!
đDuring that process, you may need to study more, pray more, worship more, whatever it is you must do it in preparation of your victory. So yes, when we are handed lemons we should make lemonade but the process may be different for us all. And remember, even lemonade mix still needs to be shaken or stirred in order for the sweet savory flavor to come forth. My advice, donât rush the process, because thereâs something so much better about freshly squeezed lemonade!
