My Freedom Wasn’t Free

Affirmation of the Day: My freedom cost me, therefore I choose to bask in it’s presence all

the days of my life!

💎It’s funny how the word Freedom has the word ‘Free’ in it but it’s far from that. Every struggle, every pain, every trial costs you something. You didn’t just arrive here, God used the building blocks of your hardships to get you to where you are today. God has a plan for us, He doesn’t shoot blindly into the dark hoping to hit the target of our lives. He has carefully orchestrated our path and even when we stray, stumble or fall short, He’s always ready to get us back on track.

💎Think about all you have endured and then look how far you’ve come. Was it really free? Did you not lose anything along the way? Many of us lost friends (or so-called ones), jobs, family members, spouses and finances. We suffered pain, shame and guilt. We’ve lost sleep cried many tears, yet we’re still here! Here to tell our stories, here to encourage others, here to live our truth!

💎So the next time you think you can’t go on, that you can’t or won’t make it remember the cost. And if you can’t remember what it costs you, remember how much it cost Jesus! The sacrifice He made so that we could live an abundant life. Freedom isn’t free but it’s your right! Own it, live it, enjoy it, after all you not only owe you that much, you also owe it to Him.
