Precious Oil

As women (and men), sometimes we can spend so much time and energy trying to perfect ourselves. We focus on all our shortcomings and imperfections, trying to be better for others. The truth of the matter is, most times, the ones we are bettering ourselves for aren’t good enough for us. We give all of our best, our best prayers, our best advice, and our best support just to leave ourselves depleted. We look around at those we’ve poured out on and realize the best we had has been one someone else’s garment. This isn’t to say you shouldn’t help others but choose wisely who you pour out on. Your oil is precious and not meant to be spilled. It cost you too much!! You got this!
