The Unveiling of Me

💎Many of us have not gotten this far in life without some pain, heartache or struggle. We have endured being lied on, rejected and cast away, but through it all; we’re still here! As I was meditating this morning, I began to think about the word ‘becoming’. Becoming signifies the act of coming into existence, undergoing change or development. I thought to myself how wonderful of a word that is! That what we see is not the final form of who we are!

💎I equated the act of becoming to that of a caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly. Many of us know how a butterfly comes to be, it is hidden in its cocoon until its set time comes. Much like us, God hides us. He hides us in dark places as He cultivates are essence. At the appointed time, the Butterfly 🦋 now fully developed comes forth. God knows the exact time to bring us forth. The unveiling begins!

💎Still thinking about the butterfly, I began to think about how no two look alike. They are uniquely created, bearing their own special design. We too are uniquely created, no one else has a story exactly like yours. God unveils us at the right time, in the right season for us to make a mark in this world. Just like the caterpillar cannot rush the process, neither should we. What you’ve endured equips you with the strength needed to sustain you throughout your life.

💎Allow God to unveil you! Let Him launch you in His strategic way that will bring glory to His name. So if you feel hidden, unseen, unnoticed, trust me it won’t be for long. Take this time to develop your wings so that in due season you’ll be ready to soar!!
