Time for a Lane Change

💎What happens when God is calling us to shift but we choose to stay in a place of comfort? When He has told us to leave our place of familiar to enter a land which we know not of? As I pondered this thought on today I became aware of how many times we stay in a place that no longer profits us or gives God glory.
💎What does this look like in today’s world? Well, we stay at a job that God has clearly showed us will never provide opportunities for advancement. We stay in relationships that we no longer enjoy and feel peace about. We operate in areas of ministry when God’s anointing has clearly shifted. Why you might ask? Fear of the unknown, fear of what others might say, fear of letting go or just to hold onto a sense of security.
💎God showed me that what we fail to realize is that our greater is often found in the ‘strange place’. It takes faith to walk into that space, an assurance that God is with us. We remain in our comfort zone destined to operate in mediocrity rather than take a chance on the destiny God has for us.
💎Let’s declare we will no longer settle for what’s comfortable but we will allow God to stretch us into unfamiliar territory. We’ve prayed for it, fasted, shouted, sowed seed on it and more but none of it will work if we don’t move! Faith without works is dead! While we may be at ease doing our will, we will never enter into God’s will for our lives.
💎I am determined not to leave my destiny unreached because I chose to do what I like rather than what He has shifted me to. If Abraham would have stayed in his country and among his family he would never have received the blessings God had for him. Make up your mind today that you will be in alignment with God’s will for your life. That you will not watch your blessings go by because you chose to stay in the wrong lane. It’s time to switch lanes and line up with your blessings after all, God is already there.

When we choose not to follow God’s commandments, we are in sin. We can’t pick and choose which commandments to follow! If He says to run down the stairs and we walk down the stairs. We are sinning. Think of Moses when hit the rock when God told him to speak to the rock. Moses was not allowed to see the promised land because he disobeyed God.
